The Buddy Holly Center presents Mike Pritchard & Hat Trick as part of the 2013 Summer Showcase Concert Series, the weekly Thursday night concert series held in the Meadows Courtyard. On August 29, 2013, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Mike Pritchard & Hat Trick will treat the audience to original Blues and Rock. The concert is FREE and open to the public. There will be a cash bar. Please, no outside beverages allowed.
This trio of gentlemen knows what they are doing when it comes to the Lubbock music scene. Mike Pritchard, Mark Wallney and Mike Boyd each have been a part of many local bands. They came together in 2004 as The Hat Trick. The harmonies that are produced by this group are powerful and would not be complete without the help of drummer Bobby McDowell, who joined the group in 2008. With a full schedule, they can be heard locally throughout the year.
