The Garden and Arts Center is a proud member of the First Friday Art Trail and thrives to display the work of local artists, artisans, and crafters. The opening or closing reception date for exhibitions takes place during the First Friday of each month, unless otherwise stated.

During the month of February, the Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center (GAC) will host our Quilters' Exhibit. This exhibit features the work of Pieced Together, a local group of women who have been meeting at the GAC every Wednesday for the past eight years. Works will inlcude quilting, knitting, crocheting, and embrodery pieces.

Generating Creativity: Local Youth Art, sponsored by the Garden and Arts Center, displays local student work that showcases the creativity and talent of youth artists from Idalou and Sudan ISD.  The work before you employs a variety of media and materials, from papier mâché to charcoal, and represents a range of age and skill levels.  This exhibit highlights the realized potential of local art education, celebrating the extraordinary promise of area youth.
