Hero's Health and Safety Day 2013

Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with the Texas Tech University Garrison Institute and the Healthy Lubbock Committee, hosted their 2nd Annual Hero’s Health and Safety Day at Safety City on Saturday, May 11, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Activities included free children’s immunizations, car seat safety checks, bike rodeo, carnival games, entertainment, free health screenings, free fitness classes, demonstrations, dog agility, Quickstart Tennis, and a spider climber by Bodyworks!  Thanks to our Superheroes, 32 vendors, and our families for making this a great event!
