Broadcasting from the Buddy Holly Center this is the Frames & Fame Podcast! This series will deal largely with Buddy Holly, early Rock and Roll, and the collection at our museum, located at 1801 Crickets Ave in Lubbock, Texas.

Caitlin, known on the podcast as Glasses, is the Curatorial Assistant at the Buddy Holly Center. She received her B.A. in History from Angelo State University (2012) and her M.A. in Anthropology from Texas Tech University (2015). She has held several internships in the museum field including: South West Collection at Angelo State University, Historic Old Fort Concho, Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center, and most recently the Natural Science Research Laboratory at the Museum of Texas Tech. She is dedicated to providing quality exhibitions to our patrons and to promoting the Buddy Holly Center as a first-class museum and fine art center.

Sebastian, aka The Glider, is the Education and Volunteer Coordinator for both the Buddy Holly Center and the Silent Wings Museum. He graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD in 2014 with majors in history and math. While at school, he discovered how much he enjoyed working in an educational setting for both children and adults. Sebastian began to work with South Dakota Achieve to help immigrants to the United States learn to read, and he also worked with underprivileged youth in after school programs throughout his time in college. When he graduated college, Sebastian combined his desire to provide educational resources for the community with the thrill of museum work by finding a job with the San Francisco 49ers education program. He worked there for a year as a museum educator, developing educational programming and doing community outreach, largely with Title I schools. Sebastian is very happy to be with the Buddy Holly Center and Silent Wings Museum and he hopes that he can continue to add to the great programs that have been previously established.
