Hunting ~ 2017-2018

Deer in Wildlife Mitagation AreaHunting requirements include obtaining a State-issued Hunting License from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the current year hunting season (available beginning each August) with appropriate stamps, a valid driver's license, and a City-issued hunting Permit for a fee.

Hunters must sign a liability release and report all harvest information. Purchase of a permit does not guarantee the harvest of game.

Hunting access is allowed only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through the year. The permit fee paid by the hunter is determined by hunter residency (determined by the driver's license zip code).  A copy of the hunter's driver's license and current hunting license is required.

Hunting fees adopted and set by City Council on 9-29-17, are subject to change without prior notice.
