The Silent Wings Museum

Commemorates the 73rd Anniversary of D-Day

The Silent Wings Museum in Lubbock, Texas will commemorate the 73rd anniversary of D-Day on Saturday, June 3, Sunday, June 4 and Tuesday, June 6, for three days of events, honoring the sacrifices made by the Allied forces on the shores of Normandy, France during a critical moment in the War in Europe.  We invite the community to join us for this yearly, family-friendly event.

Activities throughout the weekend include screenings of the documentary D-Day Remembered, vintage WWII aircraft and vehicles on display, living history groups and children’s activities. All aircraft will fly-in and be on display as weather permits.
